Zach is an associate attorney with Sage Law’s estate planning group, providing legal services in the areas of estate planning, probate, and trust administration, as well as business and tax planning. Zach is currently licensed to practice in Missouri and Kansas. Zach’s estate planning practice includes a broad range of client situations and planning for unique assets such as businesses, farms, and firearms. Zach aids clients in forming business entities, preparing ownership agreements, transferring ownership of business interests, and tax issues relating to the ownership of businesses. Additionally, Zach is well versed in the Corporate Transparency Act (“CTA”) and is eager to help clients remain in compliance with the new reporting requirements.

Zach received his Juris Doctor from the University of Missouri – Kansas City school of law in 2023. While at UMKC, Zach was a member of the Law Review and had his writing, The Aftermath of the Seed Wars: How Farmers’ Inability To Control the Seed They Harvest Has Created a Dangerous Consolidation of the Seed Industry, published. He was also a member of the Estates and Trusts Society and spent four straight semesters on the Dean’s List. Prior to attending law school, Zach received his Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Economics, with minors in Business and International Agriculture, Food, and Natural Resources at the University of Missouri – Columbia. While at the University of Missouri he was a member of Alpha Gamma Rho Fraternity.

Outside of the office Zach enjoys spending time with his significant other Allison, as well as with his family and friends. He enjoys watching and cheering on the Missouri Tigers in football and basketball as well as the Kansas City Chiefs and Sporting Kansas City. Zach is also an avid hunter in the fall and enjoys fishing and playing golf during the warmer months.
