Keenan Post maintains licenses to practice in both Kansas and Missouri with a practice focused on lifetime estate planning, including the preparation and review of wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and living wills. Upon death there are many important estate and income tax issues to consider. Having a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Kansas State University, a law degree from Washburn University School of Law with an emphasis on tax, and a masters of laws in taxation (LLM) from the University of Florida, Keenan is uniquely qualified to assist in all aspects of probate, estate, and trust administration, including preparation of estate/trust/individual income tax returns. Having taught Taxation of Estates, Gifts and Trusts for 7 years as an adjunct professor at Washburn University School of Law, Keenan understands the importance of conveying what are sometimes difficult topics in an easy to understand manner, speaking in simple manner so it makes sense to non-lawyer clientele. In addition to the preceding, Keenan handles all types of business and real estate matters, from drafting asset and real estate purchase and sales agreements to employment agreements and buy-sell agreements between shareholders.
