Reported Cases

  • Culliss v. Culliss, 62 Kan.App.2d 293, 514 P.3d 376 (Kan. App. 2022) – Caleb successfully defended the trustee of a trust in an action for breach of fiduciary duties and removal, specifically that the trustee breached his duty of loyalty, had impermissible conflicts of interest, and improperly valued real property. The Kansas Court of Appeals affirmed the District Court’s ruling in favor of the trustee, finding the trustee did not violate his fiduciary duties, did not have an impermissible conflict of interest, and the District Court did not incorrectly value property in trust.

Personal

  • When he is not practicing law, Caleb enjoys spending time with his family, friends, his significant other, Shea, and his three-legged rescue cat, Phoenix. Caleb enjoys cheering on the Kansas City Chiefs, the Kansas City Royals, the Kansas Jayhawks, and the Kansas State Wildcats, as well as traveling. Caleb is an avid writer of nonfiction and fiction, enjoys watching films and television, and reading about political and legal history and fiction.
